About Me

First and foremost I am a huge sports fan. When I was younger I played Baseball, Soccer, Basketball and Golf. Today besides watching all sports I am a runner doing around 12 races a year ranging from 5K's to half marathons. What teams do I root for? Well here is the list:

Football:

NFL - Kansas City Chiefs

College - Iowa State and Northwest Missouri State

Baseball:

MLB - Kansas City Royals

Soccer:

MLS - Sporting Kansas City

BPL - Arsenal

Basketball:

College - Iowa State

NASCAR:

Tony Stewart

With the exception of seeing Arsenal play I have been able to see all of my favorites play in person several times. From 2001 to 2003 we had partial Royals season tickets. Then from 2005 to 2012 (the season in between their MLS cup appearances) we had Wizards/Sporting KC season tickets. 

I follow many sports even if I don't have a team I am rooting for. Also I support the United States in all international competitions from the Olympics to Soccer and the World Cup to the Ryder Cup and so on. In my 40 years I have had many great memories from sports; playing, watching, coaching and watching my kids play. I expect this to continue for at least another 40 years.
